On May 6, the Memphis World Trade Club Scholarship Committee, represented by Calvin Pittman and Toni Barnes, presented $1,000 from the Nell Baugh International Scholarship to four East High School seniors graduating from the T-STEM Academy. Eryn Hollowell, DeAndre Davis, Cameron Weatherspoon and Allan Hawkins have all been accepted to colleges to further their education in transportation and their schools will receive the money to be applied to their tuition. Congratulations to each student!
To our members and guests who contributed to the scholarship fund throughout the year by buying raffle tickets, participating in the golf tournament and other fundraising events, a big THANK YOU!
One of our scholarship recipients is the first person in their family to attend college. “Thank y’all again for seeing me and believing in me! This scholarship will definitely be put to good use!”
